Meet Jonny and Lucy

Jonny and Lucy took over the Waco L&L in 2022 because they love good food and even better company. Jonny grew up in Honolulu, learning to cook for big family parties with his mom and grandmas. After moving back to Texas, he met Lucy in college. While Jonny handles the kitchen and keeps our flavors authentic, Lucy runs the front of the house with a focus on great service.  

We aren't just a restaurant; we are part of the Waco community. You'll often see us hosting profit shares for Baylor organizations or volunteering with the Asian Leaders Network. We love sharing our culture through food, and we want you to feel like family the moment you walk through our doors.

Planning a party or a business meeting? We offer Asian catering across Waco and the surrounding areas. From Baylor campus events to office lunches downtown, our catering pans of chicken katsu and kalbi short ribs are always a hit. Let us bring the flavors of the islands to your next gathering.
